Like many of you, I moved a lot as a kid. 8 schools in 12 years, and I'm the only one of my siblings that got all 4 years of high school in the same place - school, city, country, continent. We went to Kenya when I was 13 and I left when I graduated high school and was sent "home" to college. For many years, for me, Kenya was "home", It was the place I spent the very important years as I morphed from child to adult, and I had lived there longer than any other place. Now, 40 years later, home has become the place I live. I've had to make my own "home" as the one I had growing up changed too much for it to ever be "home". So I sort of have 3 "homes" - Canada, the place I was born and where most all my family is; Kenya, the place I "grew up"; and the house my wife and I live in, and where our kids come visit (which happens to be in Texas).
